West Cornwall is a land of beautiful beaches, with the rugged wild coastline dotted with iconic mine engine houses and barren moors.
There is a strong feeling of individuality with something different around every corner, possibly due to the fact that a large part the peninsula was once an island. Now heathland covers the granite outcrops and rocky gorges are host to tiny fishing villages which face a wild ocean.

The far west has attracted artists for centuries so consequently there are many galleries, theatres and exhibitions to enjoy during your stay.

We’re delighted to welcome visitors from across the world to this enchanted land, many of them come back year after year, and some settle here for good.
